Overview

▶ How to Train Your Dragon: Dragon Gliders - Previs and Techvis Video

Dragon Gliders at Motiongate Dubai was the first How to Train Your Dragon ride in the world. Guests fly over Berk on a suspended coaster.

We built the whole ride in-engine first: previs from the rider's seat, then techvis in VR with the track, speeds and sightlines we received from the engineers. We also built a tool to swap and review content on the rear-projected dome screens used during major pieces of the ride.

DreamWorks Animation · Motiongate Dubai · Mack Rides inverted powered coaster · Opened April 2017
