Virtual Production Supervisor

Overview

On Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania I came onboard as the virtual production supervisor introducing Marvel to the process for the first time. I recruited and built a hybrid UK/US team — a 15-artist Virtual Art Department, most based in the UK — and spent a few months in London working alongside VFX Supervisor Jesse James, VAD Art Director Carlos Fueyos, DP Bill Pope, production designer William Htay, and VP Producer Robert Keyghoubad.

Project Details:

Over five months we designed 8 hero sets across 34+ variants, scanned 30+ set-dressing assets, and built 35+ lighting scenarios in Unreal Engine — locking look and coverage through 200+ virtual stage walks, 45+ location scouts, and 25+ techviz sessions, with 200+ cameras placed in real time.
